Back to Business

I havent blogged in ages! Been very busy having my little girls 1st birthday and doing my first markets.
Not a huge success but these things are all about learning whats what and that I did...still learning too!
Got another public appearance comin up too...Springwood Lollipops Playland and Cafe is having a mum, bub and kids expo and we will be showcasing some of our products alongside other wahm's...hope any locals and their friends can come along and have a fun day out! We will have some giveaways too , nice chance to meet us all, have a coffee and the kids can have a play while you check out all the goodies!

I am overflowing with ideas lately but with my daughter being sick its been hard to put any into action so have patience dear bloggers and facebook buddies there will be some fun things coming soon..
I have some ideas for the next footy state of origin, fathers day and pet packs to name a few..

Googy Eggs

How are we all? Anyone else used to call eggs, googy eggs? lol..I just was thinking it then as I ponder creating my DD easter basket...a tradition in our house, DS has one since about 2 years old when he got his first choccy's (that I let him eat lol..good old nana's giving it to him when he was 3 months at his first easter)...
Finally finished delivering last of Easter orders Wednesday and time to start planning the Mothers Day gifts....Im going to try pre make as many as I can, once I get the feel for what ppl like, as I have DD bday Mothers Day weekend so will be flat out organising that...will be good tho as I can use alot of my things I make for her party for my promotion of my business which will be great...
School holidays have started so we are gonna be busy too with lots of things planned already...hope to get some chill out time, nice to not have to rush at 9 and 3...especially when DD is napping, its hard having to wake her to go pick up DS, one bonus of hols is good sleep routine for her!!
I have so many ideas for mothers day, I have the usual gift boxes in mind but thought I'd try a few other specialised and personalised gift ideas like book marks and vouchers....
Bookmarks I will make a few pretty designs with poems and cute pics, and even have the option of adding your photos to them have some cute ideas.....
the vouchers I will sell seperately and as part of the gift boxes..
One thing that might be hard as most of my fans on fb are women so unless they buy for their mum , they might miss out! :( I dont want this to happen so trying to encourage all the dads to join the page to check out the awesome mothers day boxes to buy for their gorgeous wives and partners from the kids lol...
I was thinking about getting a website going but not sure Im ready for that yet..
anyway...we are having a quiet easter, DF working all w/end and we dont have much family around so just us really.

Driving Miss Tilly

We took a long trip today, well not really long but we drove to deliver 2 of our Easter Orders to some dear friends and new customers....
It was nice to see their reaction in person as I handed them my creations.....as any creator knows you are always hesitant and hopeful as to what the recipient is going to think of your creation...the girls were happy, PHEW!!! I was able to post the pics of their creations when I got home, been waiting to for ages!! But I like them to be a surprise even if they know what they are getting, its still a little bit individual each time I make them and I love that part of this job!!!

Got another idea today.....friend of mine suggested making baby shower packs....A fellow WAHM orders my boxes to put her awesome baby product in-so I guess I could do a small baby shower gift box with organic baby creams and wipes and maybe something for the mum2be aswell like a massage oil for labour or something......

Need a new notepad to jot down....my order book is filling up and I use the front for my ideas lol...

This weekend I am creating a few bunny boxes for Junglebumz Nappies, to make her baby shower gift packs..very excited about this its a wonderful business to support and Im happy to be a part!

cookies should be done this week so I'll be able to post off the cookie orders, very excited and anxious about that...lol.....

Also this week I want to get the Mothers Day boxes done for DS school stall...Im donating 2 boxes I think...great promo for me as long as he doesn't come home with one of my boxes lol...
